University Housing Rates and Dates Schedule

- All amounts listed are per student.
- Housing offers the following accommodation types to applicants:
NOTE: First-year students are REQUIRED to live in the Residence Hall and are not eligible to live in the apartments
- Double occupancy 1-bedroom apartment = 2 occupants per apartment.
- Double occupancy 2-bedroom apartment = 4 occupants per apartment (2 per bedroom).
- Double occupancy 3-bedroom apartment = 6 occupants per apartment (2 per bedroom).
- Double occupancy residence hall room = 2 occupants per room.
- Triple occupancy residence hall room = 3 occupants room.
- Quadruple occupancy residence hall room = 4 occupants per room.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Fair Housing Act (FHA), California State University Dominguez Hills is committed to providing reasonable housing accommodations to students with documented disabilities. - Academic Year applicants may pay their fees in one (1), two (2), or six (6) installments. Spring term applicants may pay their fees in one (1) or three (3) installments. Summer applicants may pay their fees in one (1) or two (2) installments.
- A one-time installment fee is charged if you pay in more than one (1) installment for the Academic Year: $25 for two (2) installments, $50 for six (6) installments. New Spring applicants are charged $25 if they pay in three (3) installments. This fee is non-refundable.
- All utilities (electricity, gas, and water) and wireless Internet service are included.
- A refundable $300 Security Deposit is also due before the start of occupancy, when a space offer is made. Please refer to the Application Checklist for more information on the Security Deposit.
- A non-refundable $25 Residential Student Association (RSA) Fee is charged to all confirmed residents with an assigned Housing space once per academic year.
- A $50 License Cancellation Fee is assessed to residential students who request and are approved for early termination of their License Agreement.
All fees are subject to change by the executive order of the Chancellor of the California State University and/or the CSUDH Administration.

For Informational purposes only: In accordance with California Assembly Bill 990 California State University, Dominguez Hills provides the typical market cost of a one bedroom apartment in areas surrounding the campus.
- 1 Bedroom/1 Bath: $1,900-$2,000 per month
The Room and Board expenses included in the off-campus Cost of Attendance represent the typical costs students pay when enrolled at CSUDH. Actual costs of room and board will vary. Many students living off-campus have roommates, which decreases their housing costs.
